Understanding the Core Function of 6
To understand the number 6, first we have to understand what precedes and comes after it.
1 initiates (creation), 2 facilitates it, 3 expresses it. 4 organizes it, 5 alchemizes it. 6 harmonizes it. 7 understands it. 8 integrates it. 9 becomes it.
The creation that was initiated, facilitated, and expressed by the trinity was structured into form by the 4. Imagine a square. When the space in between that square starts to communicate and exchange information, it's the 5.
Now that everyone is on the same page from the alchemy of exchange (5), it naturally leads to 6, the common-unity (community). A common-unity can be a family, a country, a religion. It's a collective with a shared identity.
The 6 is the comm-unity and the energy that pre-serves it. 6 is the preservation and service principle. Pre-serves signifies its role as a protector, a steward. Its role is to maintain the common-unity. It keeps it clean, sustained, and healthy. The last thing it wants is for disharmony to happen as then, the common-unity becomes broken. It will take on burdens and sacrifice itself to maintain it (6 with 12/3 inner aura).
6 serves and protects it through self-less (individual-less) service. Side note, this is why 6 and 1 are in opposition. 6 is selfless, 1 is self. 6 has an inner 66/12/3 aura which means, in balance, it uses its self (1) to cooperate and facilitate (2).
Why 6 is the Preservation Principle
6 is the number of love. Love is the power of preservation. It is the glue, that uniting principle that holds together the vast diversity of existence and sustains it. Without love, life would be meaningless. This is explained through the number 5.
5 is the number of man experiencing the creation. The essence of 5 is a 6 (5 outer aura + 1 inner aura). Without the 6, the 5 becomes chaotic, unstable, and superficial. Drugs, food, sex, and other addictions are used to try and fill the “hole” of 6, superficially. Hence without 6, without love, creation becomes shallow, empty, and destructive.
6 and the Sexual-Spiritual Bridge
6 is food (physical nourishment), friendship (mental nourishment), devotion (spiritual nourishment). It's the energy of reproduction. 5 is the sexual ex-change, 6 is the effect AKA pregnancy, family, and responsibility.
Relating this to the kundalini or life force energy, 6 is when the energy reaches the lower chakras. If you look at the number 6, it looks pregnant. It represents the life force energy, the 0, when it is pulled down into the lower chakras. Hence 6 is fertility. It's magnetic. 6 people are the ones who can pull you in and lock you down. That’s what they are here to do.
How 6 Facilitates Transcendence
When the navel and sacral in particular are brought into such coherence (6), the energy falls into the root chakra, the 7. In the Bible, God rested on the 7th day after creating the world. 7 is the fulcrum point when the descending energy pauses before being redirected to ascend.
7 is Ketu, Ganesha, the root. 7 understands as in under-stands. It stands underneath the entire system. Then it activates the kundalini to ascend back up. The 8 integrates it, the 9 becomes it. This is made possible by the 6. 6 is the coherence of the initial creation. It's the deepest into material consciousness you can go just prior to the spiritual awakening.
Venus, Lakshmi, and the Earth Energy of 6
Hence 6 is very connected to the earth - the plants, animals, and nature. 6 is the ‘earthiest’ of all the numbers. Venus, Lakshmi, Varahi are all representatives of this. Plants, flowers, and especially water are excellent energies for the 6 to have around them. 6 material nature (energy within the lower chakras) is why Venus AKA Shukra is considered the Guru of the “Demons” as opposed to Jupiter (3) the Guru of the Gods. The demon's represent material-focused consciousness. The Gods, spiritual. 3 is more “spiritual” because it precedes the 4, which is the crystallization of consciousness into a structure. Hence 3 is more abstract, pure and innocent. We will be coming back to the 3 in a moment as it ties into a key success code for the number 6.
The Hex and the Mask: The Shadow Side of 6
In extreme imbalance, 6 is the hex(agram). 6 can be a number used to “hex,” to bind. Black magic and addictions are examples. In balance, it's the binding and bonding of individuals to become one. This is why 6 (Venus) is considered “exalted” in Pisces. Pisces is the bliss of unity.
6 is also the number of gaslighting. Where does this come from? In balance, 6 has to manage children as the mother. It has to understand how to speak and effectively communicate to different personas, to keep the harmony. It has to meet them at their level, say what they need to hear, and coerce cooperation. In imbalance, 6 is an energy that can wear masks superficially, using manipulation as a form of selfish control.
6 creates harmony that enables the common-unity to become refined to the point where it becomes one, and transcendence (7) takes place. Hence why 6 is a number of perfection. It creates such perfection that naturally and organically, consciousness can penetrate to the bottom, its roots, the 7 AKA Ketu, Ganesha, the root chakra. In the human body, this is the harmony within the navel and sacral that becomes so refined, it allows the kundalini in the root to awaken, initiating a higher understanding and the beginning of its ascent.
6 is considered one of the ‘perfectionist’ numbers in Chaldean. This stems from being very sensitive to disharmony and then trying to control it (9 essence). With a 12/3 inner aura and a 9 essence, it could be easy for a 6 to get upset and take action (9) against what it blames as the cause (12/3 victim consciousness in imbalance). It may do this in a passive aggressive way, wearing a superficial mask to manipulate and “hurt” someone to get back. The key is, the need to establish harmony inwardly first. Make Beauty a Priority
6 needs to keep their space tidy. Not just tidy, but beautiful. Beauty is more than just looks, it's a manifestation of coherence, or harmony. 6 is that coherence. This is a success code for 6. Make beauty a priority. Keep your space not just clean, but beautiful. Add some fresh cut flowers. Make the colors coordinated. Your space should be and inspire pleasantness. Keep yourself well groomed. Wear clothes that fit and accentuate you. Your function is to be living breathing coherence. If you are not embracing that, you are not aligned. Side note, 6 is the interior decorator, the stylist, the artist. They have an “eye” for it and know how to create. It all comes out of their core function - harmony.
Why 6 is a Healer and Nurse
Harmony is the reason that 6 is a healing number. Health is a manifestation of coherence. As opposed to dis-ease, 6 is when the energy and matter are in a state of perfect equilibrium. People who carry the 6 energy can be very soothing and healing for others, even just their presence. Their words, their looks, their smile, a 6 naturally will know how to bring others into a state of balance. They are the n(u)r-se, the one who can n(u)r-t(u)re you back to health. The letter U is the shakti, or energy of 6 in Chaldean numerology.

12/3 is the number of the victim. 6 on the outside is the service. What happens is, 6 can take on the burdens of others and feel like a victim on the inside. An emotional turmoil of blame. Overthinking, blowing things out of proportion, and creating drama. Additionally, as a perfectionist, 6 can get miffed when things are out of order, as they can see and sense it. But only when they’re aligned. Out of balance, 6 becomes control, guilt, and manipulation. It over-gives, then resents. It creates beauty outside while neglecting beauty inside.
